What are dentures?
Dentures are a conventional and popular dental treatment modality for the replacement of missing teeth and adjoining tissues. Dentures are artificial teeth that are made of acrylic resin as well as a combination of various metals (in some instances). A denture helps improve chewing ability and speech function. They can offer support to facial muscles affected by tooth loss, enhancing both visual appeal of the face and smile. Natural teeth, in some instances, may require minimal preparation before dentures are inserted. Dentures are custom made in dental laboratories after dental experts take appropriate measurements and duplicate impressions/ moldings of the patients upper and lower dental arches.
